Michael and Joshua decided to learn web design after high school as a way to help their families and earn some money during university.

“I’m paying $200 a month to my designer and I haven’t had any changes to my website in 2 years”

After my father being messed around with 3 different designers, who all took his money and bailed after underdelivering and taking monthly payments for no results, I realised how often the small businesses owners in New Zealand get screwed over unknowingly. Not only did this spark the idea, but it gave us reason to pursue this business - to help those who need it.

Hourly payments

“Sounds good... Afterall I have no idea how much a website should cost” is a phrase we’ve heard more than we’d like. That’s why we are clear in our pricing, where your money is going, and exactly what you can expect from us.

No ongoing payments

We build websites to scale, this means creating components and sections that are invisible up until its time for you to grow (for example, adding video testimonials). This means you’re less reliant on us or other website developers to make the changes you need through the years. No lock-in contracts that keeps you paying for nothing.

Help grow New Zealand businesses

We believe that if we do everything we can to help other businesses succeed a grow, it can only be a net positive for our business. That’s why we split our focus between websites backed by statistics and client satisfaction. At Prestige Websites, we value results more than anything else in web design. No decision is made without either numbers backing it, or the ability to split test and collect data.

Partnership

Almost as important as results, is our relationship with our clients. Like you, we want to grow, and we believe that the best way for us to grow at this stage in our business is through great relationships with out clients, especially after delivering great results with our websites.

We don’t want to trap clients into never-ending payments and long term contracts. We want our clients to come to us when they need something - whether its a service we offer or a recommendation for another agency or freelancer in the digital marketing space.

Just as we go back to some of our clients when we are looking to get work done in a specific area, we want our clients to feel free to come back to us for our advice. We want a community of small - medium sized businesses in New Zealand who build each other up and help where we can.

Clarity, transparency, and trust

Each project has two parts: The work, and the communication. At Prestige Websites, we put just much effort into the communication as we do the work.

Our goal is for our clients to feel that we can be trusted, and that their money is going to good use. We make sure to lay out every detail of the process before we begin the project, including how long each milestone will take, when our meetings will be, and what the expectations are of ourselves and our client.
